Malcolm Kelly's knee feeling better
WR Malcolm Kelly was a second-round pick last year out of Oklahoma. No one doubted whether he was a decent receiver, they just doubted whether his knees would stay healthy. But, after a worthless rookie season, he’s now back on the field and feeling better with his surgically repaired knee.

“It felt good,” he said. “It didn’t swell, and it’s not even aching. I knew when I left my feet for the first time I was somewhat close to where I needed to be.”
“Early in training camp will be the most difficult, and if he gets sore I’ll give him a break,” head coach Jim Zorn said. “There’s going to be some recovery time, and we’ll have a difficult practice and then a lesser practice in the afternoon. I’m going to look at that really closely.”
They are going to need something from one of these second-year guys. WR Devin Thomas gave them nothing last season and neither did fellow second-rounder TE Fred Davis. Jason Campbell needs someone to throw the ball to besides Chris Cooley and Santana Moss. And no, you don’t count Antwaan Randle El.
