The Boston Globe reports that a source close to Pedro Martinez says that the Chicago Cubs and Tampa Bay Rays are interesting in Pedro Martinez.
According to the report, they have checked him out down in the Dominican Republic and now want to know what it will take to get him back on the mound. Supposedly this offseason, Pedro was looking for about $5 million a year, but no one thought the 36-year old was worth it.
At this point, he is a five- or six-inning pitcher. Get ready to stress the bullpen.
