Here comes Kyle Blanks

Baseball America has learned that the Padres are promoting their top prospect, Kyle Blanks, to the majors. He was hitting .283/.393/.485 at Triple-A Portland in the Pacific Coast League and can play left field or first base. He also has 12 HR’s, nine doubles and 38 RBI’s in the minors.
Oh and he’s 6′ 6″, 285 lbs. Lord! We’ll keep an eye on him.
