Soto tested positive for weed at WBC
Cubs catcher Geovany Soto tested positive for marijuana at the World Baseball Classic according to the International Baseball Federation. When informed of his positive test, Soto couldn’t stop giggling.
Soto said in a statement “embarrassed by my lapse in judgment.”
“While I full acknowledge my inappropriate behavior, I want to assure my fans and my family that this was an isolated incident,” he said.

Yeeeeahhhh, riiiiight.
The Cubs released this unsigned statement:
“Geovany assured the organization this was an isolated incident and a misstep in judgment that will not be repeated,” the statement said. “Though surprised and disappointed, the club supports Geovany as he takes responsibility for his actions and accepts the consequences.”
Photo Caption: “Guys…how hysterical is this!? It’s like I’m talking to the ball through my mask, but I’m not really.” ****giggles****
This explains why Geovany thinks passed balls are hysterical and he never busts his butt down the first base line.
To the face!
