Antoine Walker is a whale
Former Boston Celtic and current who-in-the-hell-knows Antoine Walker was arrested two days ago for writing approximately $1 million in bad checks to three Las Vegas casinos. Since then, Rotoworld.com has learned that he has made bail.
Whew!
Thank god he is out on bail, we’d hate to see someone spend any unnecessary time in the joint when they could be playing golf with the family.
Prosecutors say that he paid back some $178,000, but still owes some $822,000. We like to say “some” before we throw out numbers in case our math is off.
If convicted, Walker faces the death penalty.
I was out in Vegas on business in May and I actually saw him walking around my hotel (Caesars) twice. He’s actually very skinny looking. It’s just that his head is really blocky and he’s not as ripped as over ballers.

LOL, not what I meant. A “whale” in gambling terms is the heavy hitter of heavy hitters. These guys get flown in whenever they want and they put a dent in the casino’s quarterly report, good or bad.

Did anyone see the riots anfter the last game this week? What kind of fans celebrate by destroying their own city? LA are a bunch of criminals. According to AP, 38 people were arrested for “public intoxication, vandalism or inciting a riot.” Probably doesn’t help to have criminals on the team. Kobe seems to have escaped that rape charge in Colorado just fine. In any case, the NBA is starting to seem kinda fixed. The LA Lakers always seem to get more than their share. No wonder Lebron is irritated. Wonder if it’s because of Hollywood.
