Palmer says he's 100%
If he’s to be believed, Bengals QB Carson Palmer did the right thing in avoiding invasive Tommy John surgery. According to Palmer, he’s fully recovered from the elbow injury that sidelined him last year.

“I’m great. I feel great. I’m 100 percent healthy, throwing, lifting, running all that stuff,” said Palmer.
“It’s just a big weight off of my shoulders. I didn’t know if I was going to have the ‘Tommy John’ surgery – I still wouldn’t be able to throw, to this day, if I had had that,” Palmer continued. “I’m just thankful I didn’t have to go through that. The doctors who said that it would heal were right and it did heal. So I’ve been throwing, just doing everything to get geared up for the season.”
The Bengals added a couple pieces on defense and will get Keith Rivers back at linebacker, so who knows, maybe they can actually field a professional team this year.
