Sources: Phillies agree to deal for Cliff Lee

Sources tell the Philadelphia Inquirer that the Philadelphia Phillies have agreed to send Carlos Carassco, Jason Donald, Jason Knapp and catcher Lou Marson and outfielder Ben Francisco to the Cleveland Indians for Cliff Lee and Ben Francisco.

Cliff Lee, 30, is the reigning AL Cy Young award winner and has a 3.14 ERA this season. It’s not known who will get bumped from the Phils rotation in favor of Lee, but we are thinking either Cole Hamels or Rodrigo Lopez. Ruben Amaro and Charlie Manuel are probably discussing this right now.
