Rams agree to deal with Jason Smith

While details aren’t available, the St. Louis Rams have announced (we think the Rams know the details, they just haven’t provided them) that they have agreed to terms with #2-overall pick Jason Smith. We think it’s probably a six-year deal and won’t be quite as much as the $41.7 million guaranteed to #1-overall pick Matt Stafford.

For one, Smith is obviously a pick below him. But, in general, since Big Ben in 2004, QB’s tend to get more regardless.
