Former Philadelphia Eagles safety Brian Dawkins suffered a broken right hand at Tuesday’s practice. According to team sources he had successful surgery to repair the hand and is expected to return in two weeks.
The seven-time Pro Bowler signed a five-year, $17 million deal with $7.2 million guaranteed with the Denver Broncos this offseason after the Eagles decided to low ball him, despite being unbelievably underpaid during his 13 years with Philadelphia.
Dawkins and the Broncos are scheduled to visit Lincoln Financial Field on December 27th where many Eagles fans are considering wearing Denver Bronco Brian Dawkins jerseys.
