As you can imagine, the thoughts and opinions on Plaxico Burress are flying all over Twitter. Here is what some are saying:

“Plaxico was naive and stupid and now he is paying the price and no one will convince me that his crime warranted 2 years that is pure BS,” says @BlkSportsonline.

Really? It’s BS? The crime comes with a MANDATORY 3.5-year sentence. How is getting two in a plea deal BS? NYC doesn’t want you walking around with a guns that you don’t have permits for. Pretty simple really.

This is almost English. We don’t know what it means to lay down and get out ready to go ham, but if it means that he should brace himself for a two-year prison stay then we are all for it.
