Richard Seymour could land on roster/suspended
CSNbayarea.com spoke with the voice of the Oakland Raiders, Greg Papa, to get the latest news on Richard Seymour’s status earlier today. And it’s not looking good for both parties.
The New England Patriots traded Seymour to the Raiders last weekend in exchange for a 2011 first round pick and Seymour has not yet reported. I mean, what pro bowler would? It’s Oakland.

Papa said the Raiders have sent a letter to Seymour saying he had five days upon receipt to report to the Raiders and take a physical. If I was Seymour, I would break a hand or sprain a knee before I reported to Oakland. That way I would fail the physical and return to New England.
Failure to report to Oakland could result in Seymour being placed on the Raiders’ roster/suspended. This would mean the Raiders could keep him on the roster/suspended for this season and then retain his rights in 2010 for his 2009 salary.
This has to be a complete nightmare for Seymour. An absolute nightmare.

Is capitlizing the ‘Y’ in the words ‘You’ and ‘Your’ an everyday thing in oAKLAND? Or is that what happens when you have a horrible owner/team/fat quarterback? Just a query.
