Besides a first-hole bogey, Woods was completely on fire today. On the ninth hole, Tiger ripped a 3-wood over 300 yards and landed his Nike within 10 feet of the pin. After a standing ovation as he walked to the green, he sunk the putt for an eagle three.
Woods also collected eight birdies, including five on the back nine, to go along with his first-hole bogey and ninth-hole eagle.
Woods is currently at 16-under par for the tournament. Austrailian Marc Leishman and American Brandt Snedekar are tied for second at 9-under.
Sources with knowledge have informed OTR that Tiger will be wearing a red golf shirt tomorrow.
