On Wednesday night Rogers was found passed out drunk behind the wheel of his still-running Mercedes Benz. He was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated and Operating a Motor Vehicle While License Not Valid. Both are misdemeanors and come with a maximum 93 days in jail and/or a $500 fine.
Oh, and he’s still suspended by the NFL for all this and can’t even play in the CFL because of his current suspension (not because Canada doesn’t want our criminals. Let’s be clear there). Oh, and the Lions are trying to recoup millions from his original signing bonus. Onward and upward?
