Falcons lose Jerry for the year

The Atlanta Falcons will be sans first-round pick DT Peria Jerry for the remainder of the season with a right knee injury. Supposedly, it’s more bone related than ACL related and he should be ready to go by next summer.

Of course, that is dependent on the injury not spreading to the brain, which could cause paralysis or death.
