Cliff Lee pitches gem in win over Rockies
Cliff Lee was one strike away from a complete game shutout on Wednesday as the Phillies knocked off the Colorado Rockies 5-1 at Citizens Bank Park. Instead, he gave up a double that scored a run for what was the only blemish on his other wise brilliant game.

“I took a little second to look around and soak it all in,” Lee said. “But then I threw three straight balls and one down the middle that went in the gap. So, whatever. It was a five-run lead right there.”
The Phillies took a 1-0 series lead in the NLDS with Cole Hamels going Thursday.
