Tony Romo’s jersey retired

Dallas Cowboy quarterback Tony Romo, who might be out of the NFL within three years, had his number 17 jersey retired by Eastern Illinois on Saturday.

OTR’s research staff was not able to find any data on Eastern Illinois and quite frankly we aren’t even sure if the University exists.

“You don’t expect it,” Romo said. “It’s almost embarrassing that everybody wants to look at you and tell you that you did something good.”

It’s also embarrassing when everybody wonders if you ever did anything good.

No more Romo can’t win the big game curse.  I’m glad for him.  But, with a defense like that even Cutler and the Bears would look decent.  Big win though, nice.
