OTR has learned that former MLB player Mark McGwire will be joining one of his former teams, the St. Louis Cardinals, as their hitting coach. OTR learned this from watching TV and reading newspapers and not by knowing sources close to the situation.
McGwire, who will be replacing Hal McRae, hasn’t done much for baseball since crying in front of Congress in 2005.
