Ill State of Mind
I know everyone is getting excited for tonight! Only a few more hours until Jay-Z and Alicia Keys perform. That’s why we’ve all been watching baseball since April. The duo will perform the new hit song “Empire State of Mind” although it will be noticeably cleaner than the album version.
For all of the Philly fans out there who are jealous of the new NY-inspired song, relax. Some dude named NeeKo made you your own version. And it’s pretty damn good.
Last Friday, Jay-Z was at the Wachovia Center and rumor has it Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins, Chase Utley, and Michael Vick were all back stage. HOVA even dedicated a song to Vick – 99 Problems. Seriously.
On a side note, where is that free concert Bon Jovi promised? The Soul won the AFL Championship. Although we heard the league is in bankruptcy proceedings, so he might be busy. Can we trade Jon in for someone who doesn’t write cowboy power ballads and feather his hair?

I don’t get the selfishness of you people. If he said the band would perform a free concert then it will happen. This band, as well as Jon Bon Jovi have donated time and money to many causes. In addition he has been instrumental in the rebuilding of several blighted cities. I am so tired of people, mainly men, talking ill of this talented individual. Bon Jovi is an awesome band, and they have a social conscience.

I have grown up listening to Bon Jovi so when I got a chance to see them live it was the most memorable experience for me. I unfortunately missed the concert last year coz tickets were already sold out. Lately someone recommended a great site:
