Iverson could play Monday
Allen Iverson thinks that his partially torn hamstring could heal well enough for him to play on Monday against the Sacramento Kings.
“I felt good,” Iverson said. “It was a regular day of practice for me. I didn’t feel any pain. I didn’t feel fatigued to not be able to get through it. I’m ready to play. It’s up to them.”
Vancouver Memphis Grizzlies head coach Lionel Hollins said that the real test will be his conditioning.
“He’s just got to get in shape,” Hollins said. “Health-wise, he’s fine. (The training staff) wants to make sure his conditioning is better so he doesn’t do anything that causes him to get hurt again.”

If Iverson is healthy enough to play, look for him to bring the ball up and exercise a “shoot first” option on offense. Also, look for his teammates to stand around and watch him and not try to get open for him because they assume – correctly or incorrectly – that he won’t pass anyway.
He won’t pass? Dude averaged 8 assists a game. Name another high scoring superstar that dropped 16 assists in a game 7 before. I was at that game. Were you?

What I want to know is why I need to care? I mean, not to say that what youve obtained to say isnt crucial, but I mean, its so generic. Everyones referring to this man. Give us something much more, something that we can get behind so we can feel as passionately about this as you do.

Aw, this is a great post. Theoretically I would like to write like that too – taking skill and true focus to bring about a great article… but what could I say… I procrastinate a whole lot and not manage to get anything accomplished…

Im not gonna lie, youve lost me right here. I know which you meant well and you certainly know what youre talking about, but I cant say that I get where youre coming from. In the event you want men and women to understand your points, you need to think about the other side from the argument, too. Youve got a wealth of knowledge, Ill give you that. But, quite frankly, you turned me off with your tone.
