Chargers cut Chris Chambers
The San Diego Chargers have released wide receiver Chris Chambers, who they acquired for a second-round pick in 2007. Chambers was demoted this week and replaced by Malcom Floyd in the starting lineup.
He’ll have to clear waivers and anyone who picks him up would owe him the remainder of his salary this year, which is $2.4 million.
