Daniels done for the year

Houston Texans TE Owen Daniels is out for the year with a torn ACL. This is terrible news for a guy that has been one of the best tight ends in football this year. He was on pace to catch 80 balls for 1,038 yards and 10 TD’s. That’s a monster year.
Now, it looks like the Texans will turn to Joel Dressen to take his place.
The worst part is that Daniels was working on a one-year contract and was staring down the barrel of a big long-term deal. Football can suck like that.
UPDATE: Rookie TE James Casey underwent knee surgery today and will be out two weeks
