Tebow took dirty hit from Georgia

Last week’s Florida-Georgia game, and nasty rivalry, just won’t go away.
First, Florida linebacker Brandon Spikes gouged the eyes of Georgia running back Washaun Ealey in a pile, which resulted in Spikes receiving a half game suspension. Now video has surfaced of Nick Williams popping Tebow well after he handed off the ball.
While the hit can definitely be called “questionable” to say the least, I don’t see how it’s as bad as jamming a finger into someone’s eye. Especially when they can’t stop you. Maybe I’m just tired of hearing Tim Tebow’s holier-than-thou name every time I turn on the TV.
“NOW video has surfaced”? Did you guys watch the game? I played it over about 4 times on my dvr (while watching the game) so I could point it out to my wife. Spikes was wrong, but Ga. was spoiling for a fight on almost every play of the game. If I remember right the first 2 penalties were personal fouls against Ga. And ,yeah, there should have been one for the late hit. It wasn’t even close.
