Williams and Romo not on same page?
Dallas Cowboys WR Roy Williams admits that despite all the offseason work that the two put in together, he and QB Tony Romo are just not on the same page.
“It’s just not even close,” Williams said. “It’s not even funny. Not even close.”
He also still thinks he’s the #1 wide receiver on the team, despite all of Miles Austin’s success.
“I’m the No. 1 receiver,” Williams said. “But things are just going No. 2′s way.”
Because he’s a better option. But it can’t possibly be Roy’s fault at all, just ask him.
“He gets the ball thrown correctly his way,” Williams said of Austin. “I’m stretching and falling and doing everything. Everybody [else] who’s been here’s balls are there. Our footballs [from Romo to Williams] are everywhere right now.”
Maybe Michael Irvin was right about what he said on his radio show. He said he tried to help give Williams and Austin tips before the season on how to run their routes and such. He said that Austin was receptive and listened. Williams was not.
Williams is starting to smell more and more like a turd to us.
