Dodgers decline option on Garland

The Los Angeles Dodgers have declined the $10 million 2010 option on pitcher Jon Garland, who they got in a midseason trade with the Arizona Diamondbacks. So they essentially lost Tony Abreu for six starts in which Garland pitched pretty well, with a 3-2 record and 2.72 ERA. But, he was left off the NLCS roster, which says a lot because they were actually letting Vicente Padilla pitch.
This makes Garland a free agent.

Hey, I just wanted to let you know, I actually like the written material on your website. But I am utilising Chromium on a machine running version 9.04 of Ubuntu plus the search and experience aren’t really satisfying. Not a powerful deal, I can still essentially understand the articles and search for info, but just wanted to inform you about that.
