OTR Athlete of the Week: Elizabeth Lambert

Let’s face it, it’s tough to get into a women’s college soccer game between (insert any college name here) and (insert any college name here). But we found the New Mexico/BYU game particularly interesting as it featured OTR’s Athlete of the Week, Elizabeth Lambert. She was so phenomenal in the 1-0 loss to BYU that she made SportsCenter. Now that’s some talent.

Here are the highlights of her performance (and check out the hot blond on BYU. The only problem is that she goes to BYU and probably doesn’t “do it.”)

Disclaimer: OTR’s Athlete of the Week Award is given bi-monthly to athletes who show exemplary behavior and talent both on and off the field. Not all of these rules apply and are subject to change.

why just last week at Marley’s U9 travel game, one of the kids snagged a spectator’s camping chair while running the wing, cut back onto the field and took out the mid fielder and sweeper. following the double takedown, her mother turned to her teams parents and said ,”finally, she’s being aggressive on offense.”

[this is how i remember it, but others might disagree.]

I want to punch that girl in the face. There is tough play and then there is being a nasty See You Next Tuesday.
