Megatron feuding with Stafford?
During Detroit’s most recent disappointing loss to the Seattle Seahawks, television cameras showed QB Matt Stafford on the sidelines trying to talk to Calvin Johnson. Johnson ignored him and turned away.
Several sources said that later in the game Stafford approached Johnson and smoothed things over. But, it was enough that it required head coach Jim Schwartz to poke around and find out what was going down.

“Frustrated with the loss. If we win, all of that’s out the window,” Johnson said. “There’s no problem with us, people are just blowing it out of proportion.”
It does seem like it’s being blown up. When you lose just about every single week, people are going to start acting pissy.
“There’s no issue there. I’ve talked to the players,” said Lions head coach Jim Schwartz. “Good gracious, if there was a camera on every single person on every single play, you could read between the lines on a million different things.
“You want to be happy and cheerful and you want to win football games and there are things that you have to work through and there are going to be times that you need to talk things out and stuff like that. I don’t even see it as being an issue. I know it’s not for the players and I don’t understand why somebody would make it an issue, when it’s not even an issue.”
Look for the Lions to struggle to win games because of this perceived rift. If, moving forward, they lose way more often than they win, we’ll know why.
