Russell benched….again

Oakland Raiders QB JaMarcus Russell continues to show why he was the #1-overall pick in 2007. Ok, not really. Russell was putrid in a 16-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and was benched in favor of Bruce Gradkowski in the third quarter. In his defense, his receivers were dropping passes all over the field.
Russell was 9-for-24 for a whopping 67 yards and will probably start next week, but jeez. When he was benched he walked to the sideline and showed little or no emotion. This guy is a turd.
At least he’ll always have at least one career game to watch when he is jettisoned from the league next year — Eagles vs. Raiders. How bad does our defense look now?
