Allen Iverson could be a Knick
Bench player Allen Iverson is looking for a starting position in the NBA. He couldn’t find one in Memphis…pathetic. He can’t find one in Charlotte…laughable. However, he might have a shot in New York if the Knickerbockers are that stupid to sign this disease.

If an NBA team signs Allen Iverson right now, they are waiving the white flag. They are giving up on the season. They are giving up on the growth of their young stars. And they are giving up on being a respectful franchise. Ironically, the New York Knicks fell into these three categories well before the thought of signing Allen Iverson.
Anyway, the latest Iverson rumor is that Knicks officials are seriously considering Iverson as a quick fix. Allen becomes a free agent Thursday evening and it’s possible he could become a Knick shortly after. However, the only ‘quick fix’ he might have is ticket sales. Iverson provides nothing else that is good for an NBA franchise. He is completely worthless. Always has been, always will be.

I don’t watch a lot of basketball, but I did watch it quite a bit when Iverson took the Sixers to the Finals, mostly because it was a fun team to watch. What year was that? Oh yeah…a long time ago. Iverson is a shell of his former self. He’s getting old and is breaking down because of the beating he’s taken over the years. Iverson is not a team player. The only time he will pass the ball is when he drives the lane, jumps in the air, realized he doesn’t have a shot, then dishes it to some other player. This worked well for him when he had no players around him. But if I’m not wrong, didn’t he play with the likes of Carmello Anthony, etc? How’d that team do? If someone like me, who doesn’t watch basketball, can see this, why can’t anyone else…besides Michael Perry. It’s ok to be a fan of a player, but at some point you have to realize that their skill set is deteriorating. If he’s considered one of the best…why is he not playing for a team?

He may be almost done but how can it hurt for the Knicks to sign him. I’m a Knick fan and I already know that if I watch 2 Knicks games this season (and I’m talking about on TV not live) it would shock me,that is how extremely boring this team is. I can’t see how it would hurt to sign him for one year( being that they are not going anywhere anyway and are just playing it out till next year) so there at least would be a reason to watch a Knicks game and maybe even do the unthinkable and go to MSG and watch them live. As of right now ,I wouldn’t even take free tickets to go see them even if they throw in free parking and beverages.

Do you believe the housing crisis is over and we have entered a new realty marketplace? I think the economy needs to fully recover just before we have adequate individuals confident enought to purchase new homes. In this industry its tough to make a long term investment and burden oneself with more debt with as much uncertainty is in the air.

OMG, if you wanna go where drama belongs. Check this. When Tila Tequila entered middle school, she developed a “tomboy” attitude and got into a lot of fights. She eventually was sent to a boarding school for 6 months before transferring schools again. In high school, Tila started using her sister’s identification cards to get into nightclubs and bars where she began drug abuse and joined a gang.
