Brandon Pettigrew done for season

The Detroit Lions hit a major road block with their playoff chances today when it was announced rookie tight end Brandon Pettigrew will miss the rest of the season

An MRI revealed the former Oklahoma State Cowboy has significant damage in his left knee which will require recontructive surgery.

Pettigrew has 31 catches for 352 yards, including two touchdowns in eleven games this season.

If Lions tight end Casey Fitzsimmons is available in your fantasy league, he will now be a good play in leagues that start four tight ends.
