Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Tiger Woods’ wife Elin Nordegren changed her story from what she originally told police. The Windemere police say that Elin went outside, saw that her husband had hit a fire hydrant and a tree and then went back inside to get a golf club in an attempt to try to extricate her husband from the vehicle.
But TMZ is told that Elin told a very different story to Florida Highway Patrol and it doesn’t involve going back into the house to get a club. This would jive with TMZ’s earlier report about her playing Whack-a-Mole with Tiger’s SUV. TMZ is not allowed to elaborate on what she actually told the Florida Highway Patrol at this time.
