Halladay wants to be moved before spring
Roy Halladay’s representatives tell ESPN’s Buster Olney that he wants to be traded before spring training or he won’t accept a trade at all. Halladay has a full-on no-trade clause in his contract and he is clearly using that to get the hell out of Dodge (he actually plays in Toronto).

This will surely get things humming up in Canada (where he plays). Blue Jays GM Alex Anthopoulos will clearly have to do a better job than the last yahoo, who wanted way too much in exchange for the 32-year old stud. Expect their asking price to drop through the floor.
Indeed, it will be tough to find someone interest in taking on Halladay’s paltry 17 wins and bloated 2.79 ERA.
