Greg Oden fractures knee cap, likely out for season
Portland Trailblazers center Greg Oden fractured his left knee cap on Saturday night during a 90-89 victory over the Houston Rockets.
The former number one pick in the 2007 NBA draft has been injury plagued during his first three years and is approaching, if not already there, bust status. He missed the entire 2007-08 season after having microfracture surgery on his right knee. Last season he played in 61 games, missing time with a foot injury and a fractured knee cap.
You better believe Portland loves watching Kevin Durant play basketball for the Oklahoma City Thunder. The player they passed up over Oden is lighting up the NBA and looks to be one of basketball’s best.

A time table for Oden’s return was not immediately set, but it is possible he could miss the rest of the season.

To those who say he needs not apologise, I say this, he made millions out of the public eye, we own him, his choice, he wants out of the deal, go away, easy. But a lot of kids looked up to him on TV showing how wonderful he supposedly is. He does owe an apolog, but no explanation, reason is simple, power and opportunity went to his head and was more important to him than those who loved him, makes him a pretty lousy guy. And probably better he goes away. But dllars talk and sponsors will forgive, because they will do anything for a buck
