Hines Ward pulling a Ben Roethlisberger on Thursday night?
Less than two weeks ago Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward publicly questioned his quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for not playing in an important divisional game against the Baltimore Ravens. Karma has seemed to have bitten him in the ass.
Hines Ward is listed on this week’s injury report as questionable with a bad hamstring. Unfortunately, for Hines their next game is tomorrow night against the Cleveland Browns.

The Steelers seem to be already anticipating Hines missing tomorrow night’s action after promoting wide receiver Tyler Grisham from the practice squad and signing him to the 53-man roster.
If Hines can’t play tomorrow night in a must-win game, granted they are playing the lowly Browns, then his leadership should be questioned. Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Sheldon Brown has been playing the last four weeks with a partially torn hamstring. Maybe Hines should give a call to the other side of the state to see how it’s done?
Ummm are you serious with this article; please take thee to a first rate journalism school at once. I know there are different standards in terms of neutrality in blog writing but this is ridiculous. First of all your analytic skills are to be questioned; how could you make an analogy between Roethlisberger (the friggin QB) not playing in a must win game due to a headache (after having passing all his neurological tests) to Hines POSSIBLY missing a game (that is basically inconsequential at this point) due to a hamstring injury.
First of all, he hasn’t missed the game yet so you’re being presumptuous here. Secondly, you can’t play football, especially as a WR, if you can’t run (again this is a sprain to the HAMSTRING dipshit). Finally any real Steelers fan knows that Hines is perhaps the toughest player on the team, indeed (unlike Ben) he has played in the past WITH concussions. Finally the game that Ben lost for the team was much bigger than this game; let’s face it the Steelers’ chances of making the playoffs as a wildcard are slim to none at this point. Not to mention (IF he misses the game) he would only be missing a game against the Browns (not against a real contender like the Ravens [like the game which Big Loser Ben missed])

Like I said it was inconsequential…we were in 10th place in the AFC before the game and even if we won out (which we wouldn’t given our schedule) we wouldn’t have made it…Thanks for the congratulations anyways…you should prob send the well wishes to Hines since he’s a real man unlike Roethlisberger (LIKE I figured, he showed up and played tough)
