Yankees land Vazquez
Because they have an unlimited pool of cash and resources, the New York Yankees were able to trade for Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Javier Vazquez. The sent outfielder Melky Cabrera to Atlanta along with a bit of cash.
What a trade.
Despite the fact that Javy was pretty wretched in his first stint in New York, this is still a steal for the Yankees. Ask New Yorkers about Melky Cabrera and you’ll get mixed reactions. Some like him, some don’t, but overall the reaction will be, “eh.”
Vazquez had a 4.91 ERA in his one year in New York and failed to live up to expectations. We’ll see if it was just a bad year or if he doesn’t deal well with the pressure of pitching in the largest market in all of sports.
Either it’s all in her head or there’s some seriously effed up stuff going on with that ballerina. Looks pretty damn good and having two of the hottest actresses around having a “good time” with one another doesn’t hurt. Aronofsky is a modern genius of filmmaking and this looks to be his best yet. I’m sure it’ll have another kick-ass Clint Mansell score as well.
