Bruce Arians to get the ax in Pittsburgh?

According to Ken Laird of ESPN 1250 in Pittsburgh, Steelers offensive coordinator Bruce Arians will be let go “in the near future.” Many Steelers fans have been begging for this for several years, although probably not when they were winning the Super Bowl.

The passing game has been fine in Pittsburgh, but this is a team known for its running and Arians has never been able to get both firing on all cylinders. It doesn’t help that the offensive line is completely horrific or that Willie Parker has always been nicked up in recent years and looks like he’s running in sand.

UPDATE: Arians will actually return to the Steelers.
