Brady and McNabb look for good golf resorts
There are rumors that New England Patriots QB Tom Brady and Philadelphia Eagles QB Donovan McNabb are in touch regarding good places to golf this offseason. Both got an early jump on the competition and should be able to solidify some good tee times.
Donovan and the Eagles were thoroughly outclassed Saturday night by the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles couldn’t start a drive outside of their own 20 and were getting killed in the field position battle all night. The offensive line couldn’t give McNabb as much as a half second to find a receiver. And when they did, he missed. The Eagles also couldn’t run the ball on offense, which some think is a problem. As for the defense, they didn’t even belong on the same field as the Cowboys offense.
Brady and his Patriots saw a similar fate on Sunday afternoon against the Baltimore Ravens. The Patriots defense was awful, giving up an 83-yard TD run to Ray Rice on the game’s first play. The Ravens hardly threw the ball, instead running up and down the field on a sub-par defense. Brady couldn’t get comfortable and threw for just 154 yards and 2 TD’s to go with three picks. He was definitely bad, but it’s mainly the fault of the Pats defense.
Here is something fun you can do. Check the media coverage of both of these games. Both QB’s didn’t play well, but their team lost the games due to thorough ass whoopings in all other phases of the game. Let’s see which QB is asked to shoulder more of the blame.
Currently, Donovan is lobbying for the Centerton Country Club in South Jersey, while Brady is trying to convince him that Dave’s Chip’n'Putt outside of Framingham has great ice cream for when they are done golfing.
