Drops for Tots update! Braylon’s Dad talks about his drops
As you may or may not know, we are a charitable group here at OTR. When we learned of then Cleveland Browns WR Braylon Edwards’ donation of $1,000 to Project Act for each TD pass that he catches in 2009, we decided to get in on the act. We are donating $5 for each drop this season in our “Drops for Tots” program. And just because he was traded to the New York Jets in midseason doesn’t mean that we’ve stopped our benevolence.
Just to update everyone: We counted five drops this season, which is low for him. Plus, we decided to donate $10 for each drop in the playoffs this year. He has one of those (and it was bad too, right in the end zone). So to keep everyone posted, we are up to $35 for Project Act in Cleveland.

We just saw this in the Newark Star-Ledger (thanks, Frank!) and thought we’d add it to our Drops for Tots update. Apparently, Braylon’s dad thinks he has the dropsies too.
“People wouldn’t be harping on him dropping passes,” Braylon’s father Stan Edwards told the Star-Ledger, “if he wasn’t dropping passes.”
So what’s the problem?
“Wish I knew,” he said. “It’s mind-boggling. He’ll make catches that nobody else in the game will make. It’s not making a difficult catch. He’ll make a borderline impossible catch! And then he’ll drop one on a simple route.”
His dad has a good point. But, does he get upset that people call out Braylon for his frequent drops?
“Am I worried about him getting a reputation for dropping the football?” Stan said. “No. Because let’s be honest — he’s earned it.”

Good day, Wonderful site, where did you come up with the info in this summation? Im glad I found it though, I will be checking back soon to see what other articles you have.

Right after reading the previous site, the current web page can make a tiny more sense. And it’s Bruce speaking in the last panel.
