Jackson had run-in with law before Jets game
Channel 10 news in San Diego is reporting that early Sunday morning, before their game with the New York Jets, San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Jackson was pulled over by police for having his music too loud. As it turns out, his license plates were expired and he was driving on a suspended license.
Brilliant.
He was handcuffed briefly, but the officer decided to just cite him as opposed to haul him into custody. Probably a Charger fan?
“It wouldn’t have been good if he hadn’t played. He’s a big part of what we do,” head coach Norv Turner said on Monday.
This wouldn’t be a huge deal if it wasn’t for the fact that Jackson still has a DUI case pending in San Diego. And this doesn’t show a ton of brains, let’s be honest. If you were driving on a suspended license with expired plates, would you be blasting your music that loud? Just idiotic.
