Jerry Porter claims jewelry was stolen – a LOT of jewelry

Former Oakland Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars WR Jerry Porter claims that $312,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from his 2007 BMW recently at an Oakland facial salon. He was scheduled to meet with police yesterday, but canceled the appointment at the last minute.

Porter said that he didn’t report the theft immediately because he was busy and because he had shipped the Beemer to Florida where he is planning to move.

Huh? You were busy?

Also, there is no evidence on the vehicle of a break-in. The Jaguars would argue that the nasty smell is the fact that they gave him a stinkload of money in 2008 as a free agent, only for him to be a colossal Turd Ferguson on the field. But, that’s not what we are talking about. We think something is fishy with his story.

Something smells funny, but we don’t know what it is.
