Mark Kerrigan: A son every parent would be proud of
So you may or may not have seen that Nancy Kerrigan’s brother has been charged with assaulting his father over the weekend. Yep, Mark Kerrigan was arrested on assault charges when he allegedly roughed up his 70-year old dad, who died shortly thereafter. Uh oh. Well, he pleaded not guilty Sunday morning which was probably a smart thing.
“[Mark Kerrigan] and his father had a violent argument and struggle at the home, and Daniel Kerrigan either fell or collapsed on the kitchen floor,” Elizabeth Healy, an assistant district attorney for Middlesex County, told the Associated Press.
Well, what you may not have known is that Kerrigan’s parents sued him back in 2008 for some $105,000. They wanted money for all the dog sitting, for the times they paid the mortgage on his house and for the attorney that they hired for him back in 2006, when he was accused of……..? You guessed it! Assault!

He was actually convicted of the assault and did some time, so maybe they didn’t hire the best attorney for him. As for the lawsuit, it was thrown out because a judge didn’t see where there was ever any agreement on Mark’s part to pay his parents back.
This guy seems like a real trophy that any parent would be happy to hoist over their head with pride.
As for the death of Nancy Kerrigan’s father, his wife Brenda says it was just a heart attack and that the assault had nothing to do with it.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
