Stover will become oldest player ever in a Super Bowl

On Wednesday, Indianapolis Colts kicker Matt Stover will turn 42-years old. This will make him the oldest player to ever participate in a Super Bowl.
“Being the oldest guy to play in the Super Bowl, that’s a privilege,” Stover said. “It just shows you I was blessed enough to be here and be a part of this year.”
The Colts added Stover in October when Adam Vinatieri had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.
“My goal was to help this team get to the Super Bowl, kick them there if I needed to,” Stover said. “Today, points mattered.”
