Vinatieri could make history
Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri was inactive for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. He’s had some knee issues and the Colts are going to keep riding Matt Stover. So while we expect that Vinatieri will be inactive for the Super Bowl as well, he is still in position to make history.
Charles Haley is the only player in NFL history with five Super Bowl rings. He won two with the San Francisco 49ers and another three with the Dallas Cowboys. Well, if the Colts are able to seal the deal and bring home the gold against the New Orleans Saints, that would give Vinatieri five Super Bowl rings. He won three with the Patriots and this would be his second with the Colts.
Interesting? We think so since no one has mentioned it and it’s obviously an insanely difficult feat to achieve since only one guy has done it ever.

Im not gonna lie, youve lost me here. I know that you simply meant well and you certainly know what youre talking about, but I cant say that I get where youre coming from. In the event you want people to recognize your points, you ought to consider the other side from the argument, too. Youve got a wealth of knowledge, Ill give you that.
