Maualuga had two underage girls in the car

We noticed when we read the initial report on the Maualuga DUI incident that two girls were with him in the car when he was arrested. And we read that they were allowed to leave and weren’t in trouble for anything.

What we didn’t notice (or even think about) was their ages. As in, they were 17- and 18-years old. Maualuga is 23.

Now, it’s not a crime to hang out with 17 and 18 year olds (we applaud him?), but if he was drunk, is it unreasonable to assume that they may have been imbibing too? Is it crazy to think that he could have supplied them with booze? That’s illegal?

We don’t know for sure, just sayin’.
