Freeney has nasty ankle sprain

Indianapolis Colts DE Dwight Freeney has a bad ankle sprain and will be questionable to play in the Super Bowl. There is pretty much no chance on Earth that he’ll be 100%.
A Colts spokesman tells the Indianapolis Star that he has “a third-degree, low basketball ankle sprain” that he suffered in the AFC Championship game.
The Colts didn’t have a nasty defense to begin with. With depleted corners and no Bob Sanders, they can hardly afford to lose Freeney with Drew Brees on the other side of the ball.
