Freeney to play barring setback
CBS is reporting that Indianapolis Colts DE Dwight Freeney was spotted today walking without a limp. What does this mean for the Super Bowl today? That he can walk without a limp. Not much else.
Numerous reports say that Freeney is going to play against the New Orleans Saints today barring any setbacks this afternoon in warmups. So far, things are looking good for Freeney, but our take is that we just don’t know how long he’ll play or how effective he’ll be.
Freeney’s backup is Raheem Brock, a former seventh-round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2002 out of Temple. He should see a decent amount of time today.
