Vick admits he didn’t work hard in Atlanta
Why on Earth Atlanta Falcons fans still give a rat’s rear end about their former QB Michael Vick, we’ll never understand. This guy is a Turd Ferguson from start to finish. Forget about the fact that he fought dogs, tortured them and killed them. Let’s just talk about his actions on the field. He never tried that hard and even went so far as to flip off the fans at one point. Yet, they still love him.
Will they still love him after he admitted to 790 AM The Zone in Atlanta that he didn’t try that hard when he was with the Falcons? They probably will, but still, he recently said once again that he didn’t put forth that much effort for a team paying him north of $100 million.
“There was a lot more I could have done off the field and in the film room that could have elevated my game to a different level,” Vick said. “I was complacent at the time, somewhat lazy, and I settled for mediocrity. I thought what I was doing was enough.”
Vick, the QB of the Philadelphia Eagles who turns 30 in June, says he’s busting it now to prepare for another chance to start in the NFL, even if we don’t think he remotely deserves it.
“I’m stronger, I feel fast and I’m back to my old-school workouts,” he said. “I think you’ll see a big difference this year.”
Uh huh, whatever. But before the interview was done, he reiterated that he didn’t give his all for the Falcons or the city of Atlanta.
“I want to play my best football up until the age of 34 and 35, and I’m going to put everything into it,” said Vick. “Just imagine what I could have been doing if I really would have been applying myself. That’s a regret I have.”
And if Atlanta fans still want to put this dude on a pedestal than we don’t know what to tell you.
Nobody wants to hear your biased opinions so you should leave them out of the article. We want facts and only facts. All the guy is saying is he didnt have as good of a work ethic and never realized it until he went to the eagles. You said, “lets just talk about his actions on the field”. If so why dont you talk about quarterbacks like Jay Cutler who arent nearly as humble as he is and arent half the quarterback. Just because you hate him doesnt mean the atlanta fans should. Step up to the plate and do your job.

Vick is garbage and all he is doing is talking himself up in hopes of attracting a team. He is scum and continues to show that he is scum in many ways and idiots who think he is remorseful for what he did should get slapped silly. It’s funny how sports fans overlook so many things, Vick is an arrogant SOB who tortured and killed innocent dogs. He has a long history of bad/illagle behavior…….tortured & killed dogs, bank rolled dog fighting ring, particpated in dog fighting, lied about it to team owners & NFL, failed drug tests, filed bankruptcy (what about selling those diamond studs in his ears to pay off some debt?), stole from pension, is suspected in 2 murders, flipped off fans, children out of wedlock with multipled women, suspected of steroid use. He has absolutely no redeeming values. He wasn’t a good QB before and he still isn’t. All he does is make excuses for his actions and blame others. He is worthless!

Does it really matter? He has been through hell as it is with the media and the whole whole knowing about his infidility. Would it have made it easier if he had allowed questions to be asked? He made mistakes yes, but now we need to allow this remarkable sportsman return to the one thing he is great at -golf. Let him pick up the pieces with his family and move on

I think its funny how everyone here is so quick to jump on the illegal “Mexicans” that are in this country. What about ALL the Asian’s that are here illegally? I do agree that we need immigration reform but for ALL illegal immigrants not just pick and choose. For those who say we need the jobs for “hard-working Americans”, well they are more than welcome to go out to the fields, deal with heat or freezing cold and pick the fruit and vegetables that we all eat on a daily basis. However, a lot of those crying are the ones sitting on their butts collecting welfare. No one has to agree with me, this is just MY OPINION
