McGrady headed to the Knicks after all
It looks like the New York Knicks will end up with Tracy McGrady. Marc Stein of ESPN.com reports that there has been a consummation of a three-team trade involving the Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings and New York Knicks.
The Knicks get McGrady and Sergio Rodriguez from Sacramento, the Rockets get Kevin Martin and Hilton Armstrong from Sacramento as well as Jordan Hill and Jared Jeffries from New York. Houston can also swap first-round picks with New York in 2011, and the Rockets also get New York’s 2012 first-round pick.

This deal puts the Knicks $30 million under the salary cap on July 1st. This will allow them to pursue LeBron James, Chris Bosh and/or Dwyane Wade in the offseason.
