Tigers offer contract to Johnny Damon

The Detroit Tigers have sent free agent outfielder Johnny Damon a contract offer. General manager Dave Dombrowski confirmed the news in a telephone interview with the Associated Press.
Earlier this week the Chicago White Sox reportedly canceled their one-year offer to Damon and agent Scott Boras. The White Sox decided to go with a local ball girl who had a better arm.
The Tiger’s offer is reported to be around $7 million for one year.
The 36-year old left-handed bat has spent the last four years with the New York Yankees. Last year he hit .282 in 143 games with 107 runs scored, 24 homeruns, and 82 RBIs.

Can I make a suggestion? I believe youve obtained something excellent right here. But what if you added a couple links to some page that backs up what youre declaring? Or perhaps you could give us some thing to seem at, something that would connect what youre stating to anything tangible? Just a suggestion.

This is getting a little more subjective, but I much favour the Zune Marketplace. The user interface is decorative, has a lot more sparkle, and some great features such as ‘Mixview’ that let you speedily see associated collections, tracks, or other users associated to what you are hearing. Clicking on 1 of them will center on that item, and one more set of “friends” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by related performers, tunes, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” can be excellent fun, letting you locate others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your buddies are hearing, which can be enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will probably be relieved to know it is possible to stop the public from seeing your personal listening habits should you so decide on.
