Nashville ups the price on the Flyers

RyanParent 300x225 Nashville ups the price on the FlyersThe Philadelphia Flyers and Nashville Predators have supposedly been working on a deal that would send defenseman Dan Hamhuis to the Flyers in exchange for either Braydon Coburn or Ryan Parent.

Well, sources now tell the Philadelphia Daily News’ Frank Seravalli that the Predators are upping their asking price. Supposedly, they now want Coburn and Parent. That’s getting pretty steep.

Yes, Parent likes to get hurt and Coburn’s stock has fallen off a bit. But they are 22- and 24-years old respectively. The problem is that the Flyers don’t have much in the way of prospects to package with Parent. Seravalli is told that Parent and a second-round pick will get the deal done, but the Flyers first pick in the 2010 draft is in the third round.

So, it sounds like it’s Parent and Coburn or the Flyers don’t get Hamhuis. They should think long and hard about this as they aren’t even assured to have Hamhuis on their roster next year.

Youre not the average weblog writer, guy. You certainly have anything powerful to add for the net. Your design is so strong that you could practically get away with becoming a bad writer, but youre even awesome at expressing what you could have to express. Such a great website. Ill be back for more.

  4. Im not gonna lie, youve lost me right here. I know that you just meant well and you obviously know what youre talking about, but I cant say that I get where youre coming from. Should you want people to understand your points, you must think of the other side of the argument, too. Youve got a wealth of knowledge, Ill give you that. But, pretty frankly, you turned me off with your tone.

  5. I should say, as much as I loved reading what you had to convey, I couldnt help but lose attention after a while. Its as if you had a good grasp on the issue, but you didn’t remember to include your readers. Maybe you need to consider this from more than one angle. Or probably you shouldn’t generalise so very much. Its better if you think about what other people may have to express rather than just going for the gut reaction to the subject. Consider modifying your own notion process and giving others who may browse this the benefit of the doubt.

  6. This is getting a little bit more subjective, but I much favour the Zune Marketplace. The user interface is colorful, has a lot more pizzazz, and some great functions such as ‘Mixview’ that let you swiftly see related cds, songs, or other users related to what you might be listening to. Clicking on 1 of those will center on that item, and another set of “friends” will come into view, permitting you to navigate around exploring by the same performers, tunes, or users. By the way, the Zune “Social” is also good fun, letting you find other people with shared tastes and becoming buddies with them. You then can listen to a playlist produced based on an amalgamation of what all your buddies are hearing, which can also be enjoyable. Individuals concerned with privacy are going to be relieved to know it is possible to prevent the public from seeing your individual listening routines in the event you so pick.
