Bears sign Chester Taylor
The Chicago Bears have signed free agent RB Chester Taylor to a four-year, $12.5 million contract with $7 million in guaranteed money, a league source tells Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun Times. Jensen thinks the numbers are a little high for a 31-year old, and maybe he’s right, but we like the fact that he really doesn’t have much tread on his tires.
He started for the Vikings in 2006, but other than that he’s been playing second fiddle everywhere he goes. He’ll essentially be asked to do that again with the Bears along with Matt Forte. Forte had a lousy season last year (just ask his fantasy owners), but the o-line didn’t exactly help.
We’d have no problem going into a season with Forte and Taylor as our backs. Block for them and they’ll be fine.

I agree with much of what peoples comments are that I am reading here.
